Cinema is my life’s passion.

I am constantly amazed to see a film’s ability to transport the audience to new worlds and experiences unlike– and sometimes very much– like their own. Films shown on the “Silver Screen” allow people to escape their current reality. 

It takes many people working hard to make a successful film, let alone a good one. This website is a hub where I dive deep into the history of cinema, from the 1910s to present day, through spoiler-free reviews and in-depth opinion pieces.  

Everything  written on this website is strictly from my perspective, reflecting my thoughts and values. My reviews highlight what I enjoyed and what I could have been improved on, but they do not contain a grade that may sway the audience’s desire to see the films. You will never see me say, “you’re wrong to think this way,” or attack differing positions. All films are subjective works of art, and everyone has the right to their own opinions. My pieces only reflect whether I enjoyed a film or not, and the reasons why I came to that conclusion. 

I hope that you will enjoy reading these pieces as much as I have writing them. My greatest desire is to share my love of Cinema with you, and take you on a journey as I explore films from different genres, eras, and cultures, possibly sparking a deeper appreciation for the Silver Screen for you as well.
